JACKPOT WEEKEND

This event will commence on each 3rd weekend of the month. It will last for 48 hours.
So, at Friday 11-14-08 Midnight to Sunday 11-16-08 Midnight, you will be invited to the BG’s to find and kill as many jackpot mobs and collect as many Dreaded Seals as possible. The player with the most Dreaded Seals by Sunday at Midnight, will have there choice of one Dragon loot item, as long as it is available in the database. Other wise you may have your choice of all the items that would drop from one of the
3 dragons with one exception. The “named dragon items will not be available”.

The BG’s as far as levels for play have been prepared for you enjoyment to go for the jackpot drops and seals:
BG 10 The Hills of Claret = level 10 – 19 players
BG 15 Killaloe = level 15 – 19 players
BG 20 Thidranki = level 20 – 24 players
BG 25 Braemar = level 25 – 29 players
BG 30 Wilton = level 30 – 34 players
BG 35 Molvik = level 35 – 39 players
BG 40 Leirvik = level 40 – 45 players
BG 45 Cathedral Valley = level 45 + players

You will get a jump from a GM to your appropriate BG for the jackpot event.

Support NPC’s have been made available to assist you in your task.

So, you can bind, camp, sell, buy healer stones, unload etc., and exit if you finish early if desired.

There are nice drops on jackpot mobs so worth your time to camp.

A second weekend prize will be awarded by solving the mystery word derived from letters that drop from the jackpot mobs. Only the missing letters to the event mystery word will drop.

The mystery word clue will be posted approximately 30 minutes before said event.

All you have to do is fill in the missing blanks and solve the mystery word for the weekend. First one to do that task gets a dragon loot drop pick as stated above.

Just send a tell to a GM, and if your right you will be awarded your prize.

The rules are simple:

You will be allowed 2 jumps per said event. Your first jump is to the original destination BG. Then if you so level up enough to merit to a higher level BG, then a second jump will be merited. After that, you are on your own. The NPC’s have been provided at the BG’s so you really won’t have to really go no where, unless you decide to exit.

You will be scanned for Dreaded Seals on your player. So, it will be advisable to trade all them in before you want your jump to the said BG of your choice. This will keep everybody fair. You may hold on to all other seals because Dreaded Seals only count for this event. Yes, you get to keep all you can carry for drops. And, yes there is a merchant to sell what you don’t need.

So, organize and lighten your back pack because Vault Keepers will not be available to keep everybody fair once again.

The Keeps are not claimable yet. Also, a great deal of the mobs haven’t been placed in the BG's. Still, you are free to roam the BG’s if you desire. The Jackpot mobs have been enabled to drop more Dreaded Seals than the regular BG mobs.

BG45 is nice thanks to Nagami, the mobs there are pretty much set.

Congratulations to Zeplin who figured out the Mystery word.

Zeplin had all letters drop for him but one and solved the word clue at 1925 EST and was awarded his prize.

At midnight on Sunday Zeplin had a total of 14 Dreaded Seals. No other player was on in the BG's to have ther seals counted at that time. if you feel you had more seals drop at the event pm one of the GM's and will award you appropriately.

Otherwise, Zeplin is the winner for the seal drop event. He was monitored for both days as others were in there appropriate BG.

the next jackpot will be in January, due to everyone is uaually pretty busy during the Chrismas holiday.

I took your suggestions and the changes have been implemented already.

Items drops are now 100% quality and 35% bonus.

Did a test the other day and out of 14 kills I got 13 drops, 2 of which were dreaded seals.

Better than last time before change; 14 kills yeilded 6 drops.

Also, all the BG's will be open for levels 10 + for the said event.

this weekends jackpot will be a little different. it will start at 1400 EST on saturday the 17th to monday THE 19TH AT 1400 EST. THE SAME DEAL WILL BE TO GET AS MANY DREADED SEALS. YOU WILL BE SCANNED BEFORE YOU ARE JUMPED TO YOUR ZONE. AND ALL BG'S WILL BE OPEN THAT ARE LEVEL 10 AND ABOVE. SINCE WE GIVE YOU FREE LEVEL TEN. ALSO, THE SECOND PRIZE WORD CLUE WILL BE POSTED BETWEEN 1300 - 1400 ON SATURDAY. AND, YES ALL THE DROPS YOU KEEP. DRAGON DROP CHOICE AWARDS FOR THE MOST DREADED SEALS AND FOR SOLVING WORD CLUE. sad to say my real life got in the way of some fun for this weekend.
